Our green coffee - small batches, high quality, amazing taste
Janiman is a young trading company that imports high quality green coffee from Colombia to Europe and works in particular with small and medium-sized roasting companies. The idea: Aproved specialty coffee according to the guidelines of the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) and traceability of the bean instead of anonymous bulk material from the Hamburg coffee warehouse. After all, anyone can order there. The palpable energy of the Pacha Mama, with whom the indigenous peoples work, turquoise lagoons, the dense forests of the jungle, the majesty and impenetrability of the Andes - it is they who provide the extraordinary taste of Colombian coffee. Whether caramel, cocoa, honey, sugar cane or oranges: Colombian coffee thrives in a paradise full of plants and fruits in a variety of climates that extend throughout the country.
We concentrate on the import of coffee, which has been cultivated carefully and traditionally by small farmers. Quality and origin are the most important things for us. On special request we also import green coffee in the preferred quantity and from different regions of Colombia, whether it is coffee from Huila, Norte de Santander, Sierra Nevada, Cauca or Quindío. We know the plantations of the cafeteros and are regularly on site. This enables us to trace back: How are the coffee plants treated, harvested, the coffee beans processed? And we have an eye on the entire development process right up to the arrival of the speciality raw coffee in Germany. We supply roasting plants not only with whole sacks, but also with small quantities from 15 kilograms upwards for special coffee ideas and campaigns for your customers. And the name? Janiman is a Sanskrit word, the Indian traditional written language. Coincidentally it blends with the name of the company`s founders, Janina and Manuel. Translated it means "birth" or "nature" - an adecuate name for our project.
